Parent consultation in Budapest
Parent consultation in Budapest, in English or Hungarian. A space to understand what your child may be communicating, and to find calmer, more supportive responses — including for expat families.
30 000 Ft / 50 min

As a mother of three I know both the joy and the strain of parenting. Consultation is practical and respectful. We look at everyday conflict, worry about school or mood, and the extra load of raising children far from grandparents and a familiar language.
Who it is for
- Everyday parenting challenges
- Parent–child conflict
- Worry about behaviour, mood, school or peers
- Expat and internationally mobile families
- Parents who want the relationship at home to feel lighter again
How we work
You know your child best. My role is a second view: what the behaviour might be saying, and what helps both of you — without blaming, and without a script.
What a session looks like
A session is 50 minutes with the parent or parents. The child does not have to be in the room. If it later makes sense to include the child, we talk about that together.
In Budapest, and online
Parent consultation can be in person in Budapest or online — often useful if one parent travels, or if the family is between countries.
When this is not the right fit
This is consultation, not a parenting course with guaranteed results, and not a child-protection procedure. If a situation needs a different professional (school, paediatrician, crisis service), I will name that.
Questions about this work
- Does my child have to come?
- No. Parent consultation is for the adult. If it later seems useful to see the child as well, we decide that together.
- Do you work with expat parents?
- Yes. A large part of this work is with internationally mobile families in Budapest — in English or Hungarian.
- Is this the same as child counselling?
- No. Here the conversation is with you. Child and adolescent counselling is a separate service, and the two can complement each other.
